DEEP headquarters at 79 Elm Street in Hartford is currently closed due to recent water damage impacting multiple areas of the building. We are working to remediate the situation and get the building back open to staff and the public as soon as possible. While the building is closed, Staff continue to work either remotely or in alternate locations. The DEEP Store

Publications and Maps on Connecticut's Environment, Geology, Natural History, and Outdoor Recreation

The DEEP Online Store is the point of distribution for the publications of the Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey, including the Natural Diversity Database. The store also carries a limited selection of titles from various not-for-profit and smaller publishers, as well as U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute topographic maps for the entire state. The store can also produce Maps on Demand.

Our goal is to provide the citizens of Connecticut with the ability to obtain natural resources information about our state and surrounding areas. We strive for the best quality at affordable prices. Publishing and printing are funded through publication sales and donations, and our publications are among the best in the nation when it comes to environmentally friendly materials. The latest and most sensitive processes are employed in coatings, inks, and papers.

Many of our publications are available for viewing at libraries around the state, including the Connecticut State Library.
