Wholesaler Distributor of Drugs, Medical Devices and/or Cosmetics Within the State of Connecticut

Purpose

This registration is required for businesses that reside within the State of Connecticut and supply controlled substances, legend drugs, over-the-counter drugs, medical devices (legend or non-legend), or cosmetics to other wholesalers, manufacturers, prescribing practitioners, hospitals, pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. 

Prerequisites
  • Prior to obtaining this registration you will be subject to an inspection by the Department of Consumer Protection, Drug Control Division. Once you have submitted your application, the Drug Control Agent assigned to your facility will contact you to schedule the opening inspection.

Effective Immediately All Locations Which Store for Distribution Drugs, Medical Devices and/or Cosmetics within the State of Connecticut Must Be Separately Registered.

Renewal Information

  • All wholesaler registrations expire annually on June 30th.
