Academy for Community Partners
The Academy for Community Partners, or ACP, provides training and education for partner agencies, community providers, and individuals throughout Connecticut who support children, youth, and families.
ACP works in partnership with Connecticut’s provider community to offer practical, relevant training that supports child welfare practice, family engagement, safety, trauma-informed care, and related topics.

Provider Training Catalog
The Provider Training Catalog is the primary place to view current ACP training opportunities for community providers.
The catalog is updated quarterly and includes instructor-led trainings. Each catalog includes current course offerings, training dates, times, locations or delivery methods, registration information, and continuing education credit information when applicable.

Web-Based Trainings
Temporary TRAIN Connecticut Access Issue
TRAIN Connecticut is experiencing a temporary platform issue that may affect users’ ability to access, launch, or complete DCF online trainings, including web-based trainings listed on this page.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with the appropriate platform administrators to resolve the issue.
ACP also provides access to selected web-based trainings that can be completed online. These trainings support foundational knowledge and provide flexible learning options for providers and community partners.
Most web-based trainings are accessed through TRAIN Connecticut. Users may need to create a free TRAIN account before registering for or launching online courses.

Mandated Reporter Training
Mandated Reporter Training provides information and instruction related to mandated reporting responsibilities. Training is available in both online and in-person formats.
