1. Post-Scoping Notice for Milford Land Acquisition

Municipality where project will be located:  44-64 & 0 River Street, 145 High Street, 0 Railroad Avenue, Milford, CT

CEPA Determination:  On February 17, 2015 the Office of Policy & Management (OPM) published a Notice of Scoping to solicit public comments for this project in the Environmental Monitor.  Comments were received from the Office of Environmental Review of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Intergovernmental Policy Division of the Office of Policy and Management, and the Drinking Water Section of the Department of Public Health. 

In direct answer to questions posed by the Intergovernmental Policy Division of the Office of Policy and Management, the City of Milford drafted a letter of response.  As the project sponsor, the OPM has reviewed the content of this reply letter and accepts the responses as its own.

The OPM is also in receipt of comments from the State Historic Preservation Office of the Department of Economic and Community Development and one comment from a member of the general public.

The OPM has taken all comments into consideration and has concluded that the project does not require the preparation of an Environmental Impact Evaluation under CEPA.

The agency’s conclusion is documented in an Environmental Assessment Review and a Memo of Findings and Determination.
