1. Notice of Scoping for Brookfield Sanitary Sewer Extension
Municipality where proposed project would be located: Brookfield
Project Description: The project involves a sanitary sewer extension from the town’s existing sewer located in Gray’s Bridge Road that will collect wastewater generated at Stony Hill Village, Whisconier Village and Cedarbrook Condominiums to resolve pollution problems caused by failing septic systems. The project involves the construction of three wastewater pumping stations and approximately 17,000 linear feet of sanitary sewers to service the three condominiums.

2. Notice of Scoping for Improvements to the Interstate 84 Corridor
Municipalities where proposed project will be located: Danbury,Bethel,Brookfield,Newtown, Southbury,Middlebury and Waterbury
Project Description: The Connecticut Department of Transportation will prepare an Environmental Impact Evaluation (EIE) on a proposal for transportation improvements to Interstate 84 in the towns of Danbury, Bethel, Brookfield, Newtown, Southbury, Middlebury and Waterbury, Connecticut for a distance of approximately 32 miles.
Alternatives under consideration include, but are not limited to, 1) Taking no action, 2) transit operation service, 3) transportation systems management, 4) addition of a third general purpose travel lane in each direction, 5) addition of a third travel lane in each directin with congestion pricing, 6) addition of a third travel lane in each direction for use as managed travel lanes.

Addresses of Possible Project Location: Route 8, Derby and Ansonia, Connecticut
Project Description: The purpose of the proposed action is to improve and enhance the safety and operational characteristics of Exits 16, 17, and 18, as they provide access to and from Route 8 in Derby and Ansonia, Connecticut. The purpose of the proposed action is also to improve the operational characteristics to and from Route 8, as well as along the adjacent local street network.
Access at Exit 16 is proposed to be improved by adding a northbound on-ramp, upgraded northbound off-ramp, upgraded southbound on-ramp, and adding a connector road from an extension of Water Street to Pershing Drive. The southbound off-ramp at Exit 17 is proposed for reconstruction, while the northbound on- and off-ramps are to be eliminated. A new northbound on-ramp is proposed at Exit 18.

1. EIE Notice for Hebron Village Green District
Municipality where project is proposed: Hebron, CT
Address of Possible Project Location: Situated on the south side of Main Street (Route 66) and the east side of Church Street (Route 85)
Project Description: The Town received a Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant to assist in the construction of the new road and utilities to access the Town's new planned mixed-use business expansion area, within the Hebron Town Center, called the Village Green District. The Town is working with private property owners and developers to develop the 148 acre site directly adjacent to the Town's General Business District along Route 66. The State funds are proposed for use toward constructing the initial 1,000 feet of road and utilities as a public incentive for private investment.

2. EIE Notice for Three Rivers Community College (TRCC) Consolidation and the Relocation of Norwich Connecticut Technical High School (NCTHS)

Project Description: The TRCC consolidation would provide renovations of the existing TRCC main building with approximately 193,000 square feet of new construction to adequately support approximately 2,000 full time equivalent students. The NCTHS relocation would provide renovations of the existing main building at the Mohegan Campus with approximately 95,000 square feet of new construction to adequately support approximately 550 students.

3. EIE Notice for Reconstruction of Interchange 33 on Interstate 95

Project Description: The Connecticut Department of Transportation proposes to reconstruct Interchange 33 on Interstate 95 in Stratford, Connecticut to provide a full diamond interchange. Currently, this facility is a partial interchange consisting of a southbound entrance ramp to I-95 from the Veterans Boulevard Connector and a northbound exit ramp from I-95 to Ferry Boulevard. The new configuration will include a new southbound off ramp from I-95 to Veterans Boulevard and a new northbound on ramp from Ferry Boulevard to I-95.
