2. Notice of Scoping for Lathrop Road Extension Water Main

Project Description: The project consists of installation of a new 12-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances to provide water service to both existing and proposed industrial businesses along Lathrop Road Extension and Community Avenue Extension.  This project will be funded through a Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) Grant distributed by the Office of Policy and Management (OPM).  The Connecticut Water Company will oversee this project for the Town and will own and maintain this water main as part of its distribution system once the project is completed.

Written comments from the public are welcomed and will be accepted until the close of business on:  Monday, July 6, 2015.

Any person can ask the sponsoring agency to hold a Public Scoping Meeting by sending such a request to the address below.  If a meeting is requested by 25 or more individuals, or by an association that represents 25 or more members, the sponsoring agency shall schedule a Public Scoping Meeting.  Such requests must be made by Friday, June 12, 2015.
