Project Description: The Project is located at 16 Miller Avenue in the City of New Haven on a 4.3-acre parcel. Currently the land is vacant. The area was previously developed between 1923 and 1965 with 20 residential and commercial properties but most structures were demolished by 1970. The project site is not located in any Natural Diversity Data Base (NDDB) identified critical habitat. The site is located in area of minimal flood hazard as per Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Map and not in any wetland as per national wetland inventory map. A portion of the project site touches storm surge zone 3 and 4 and also falls in conservation area factor 1-3. That portion of the project site is located in Coastal boundary but not in any Coastal Barrier Resources System (CBRS) unit. No brownfield/superfund/toxic release facility within 3000 ft of project site. There is a Phase I ESA available.
