Directions for Completing the Scoping Notice Template
This is not a true form; it is merely a template. Copy this template into the folder you created for the project. Then you can navigate, edit the text, and add or delete spaces just as you would in a Word document. Please remember to delete any line for which you are not entering data. Feel free to use language that is interesting. Do not change fonts (though you can use italics and boldface, if necessary). Any errors or deficiencies in content will of course be the responsibility of the sponsoring agency.

If you have more than one map, just insert addtional lines ("Click here to view a map of project area #1, click here to view a map of project area #2, etc.") Feel free to use more interesting language. If you already have a map or other image on-line at another web site, you do not need to insert a file, but just make this sentence a hyperlink (see manual). If you have no map, delete this line.
