Attorney General Tong Announces Settlement with AT&T Mobility, LLC, Cricket Wireless, LLC, T-Mobile USA, Inc., Cellco Partnership, D/B/A Verizon Wireless, and Tracfone Wireless, Inc. Over Their Deceptive and Misleading Advertising Practices
Attorney General Tong today announced three settlements totaling $113,774.89 between the State of Connecticut and AT&T Mobility, LLC, Cricket Wireless, LLC, T-Mobile USA, Inc., Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless, and TracFone Wireless, Inc. (collectively, the “Wireless Carriers”) resolving investigations into the Wireless Carriers’ deceptive and misleading advertising practices.

Connecticut Joins Justice Department Suing Apple for Monopolizing Smartphone Markets
Attorney General William Tong today announced that Connecticut has joined the U.S. Department of Justice and 15 other attorneys general filing a civil antitrust lawsuit against Apple for monopolization or attempted monopolization of smartphone markets in violation of Section 2 of the Sherman Act.
