The board has voted to approve the cost of living increase of 5% for July. Based on the statutes governing Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) for CT TRB members, the Connecticut Teachers’ Retirement Board will be granting COLA as follows.

| Members retired prior to September 1992 | 5% |
| Members retired on or after September 1, 1992 and joined the system prior to July 1, 2007 | 5.9% |
| Members retired on or after September 1, 1992 and joined the system on or after July 1, 2007 | 5% |

Retirees should expect to see the COLA in their July payment, which will be received on July 30th 2022.
