Support to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee
The Office of Policy and Management is announcing an RFP that seeks the services of a contractor to provide assistance to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee (JJAC). This assistance will include monitoring for compliance with federal mandates, monitoring of subgrants, conducting evaluations, collecting and analyzing data, and arranging for conferences and meetings.
OPM is contracting for services to provide support to the JJAC, a Governor-appointed committee responsible for overseeing the distribution and use of federal funds under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act in Connecticut. The purpose of the JJAC is to prevent delinquency and improve Connecticut’s juvenile justice system. The JJAC is responsible for monitoring for compliance with four federal mandates concerning juveniles in Connecticut’s juvenile justice system as well as providing for adequate research, training, and evaluation capacity within the State.
