Hartford’s Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth & Family Center received funding from the State of Connecticut’s Nonprofit Grant Program to purchase two vans. These vans have enabled the Wilson-Gray Y to transport youth in its program on its own, thereby reducing the Y’s overall transportation costs since it does not need to rent busses as frequently. Each van can accommodate nine passengers, and the vans are used to transport youth in programs including Let’s Dance, Youth Sports, and the YMCA Teen Incentive Program.
