American School for the Deaf
The van that was purchased through the CT Nonprofit
Grant Program has enabled families without access to transportation the
opportunity to receive services at the American School for the Deaf.
The van was purchased as the primary vehicle for ASD’s Early Childhood
Intervention Program, and as a result, parents and young deaf and hard of
hearing children are able to receive a variety of support services, including
audiological services, from professionals here at the school. This van
allows us to provide safe, reliable transportation to connect families with
vital services for deaf and hard of hearing children.
