Special Guest:  Dr. Linda K. Frisman, Director of Research for the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services provided an update on research projects at the April 8th meeting of the CJPAC Research Workgroup. The New SAC Director Ivan Kuzyk also provided updates on research. Each individual agency DOC, BOPP, DMHAS, CSSD, Court Operations, and DPS discussed updates for their respective organizations and provided valuable insights on current initiatives and the direction for the most needed areas of research.

Jody Barry will be leaving Connecticut and her job at the Department of Correction (DOC). Thank you Jody for your dedicated service to the State. We have benefited greatly from your knowledge, abilities to provide us with the right information within short timeframes and your tremendous work ethic. You are a role model to many. Most notable are Jody's contributions in the creation and regular production of the OPM Monthly Indicators Report and her valuable assistance with the Annual Recidivism Report. Our sincerest best wishes in her new endeavors. We will miss you!
