Q: Who is required to file an Annual Statement of Financial Interests (SFI)?

A.By statute, all state-wide elected officers, members of the General Assembly, department heads and their deputies, members of the Gaming Policy Board, the executive director of the Division of Special Revenue within the Department of Revenue Services, members of directors of each quasi-public agency, members of the Investment Advisory Council, state marshals and such members of the executive department and such employees of quasi-public agencies as the Governor shall require.


Q: What type of information is included in an Annual Statement of Financial Interests (SFI)?

A.By statute, the Annual Statement of Financial Interests (SFI) includes personal information (name of spouse and dependent children), real property owned, business(es) with which associated, sources of income in excess of $1,000, securities held whose fair market value is in excess of $5,000, leases and contracts held with the state and creditor information if debt is $10,000 or more.
