DEMHS, as the lead state agency for coordinating emergency management and response statewide to disasters and incidents, is committed to preventing and protecting the state from acts of violence and terrorism and engaging with the whole community of stakeholders to achieve its mission.

The Connecticut Intelligence Center (CTIC) serves as the homeland security component within DEMHS. We’re here to help the people of CT and prevent a homeland security threat or situation. We also help with suspicious activity reporting, preventing terrorist attacks, cybersecurity threats, and more.
