2014 Connecticut State Health Assessment
In September and October, 2013, DPH held Public Forums in each of Connecticut's eight counties. The purpose of the Forums was to share data from the draft State Health Assessment, and to hear county residents' perceptions of 1) the issues and problems that affect their communities' health, and 2) how their communities might become more healthful places to live.
Subsequently, a Spanish-language Webinar was held for the state's Latino residents, and a special Forum was held for State agencies.

Each 1-hour Forum began with opening remarks by Dr. Jewel Mullen, DPH Commissioner, followed by a presentation of data by DPH staff and a Questions & Answers session.
