Connecticut's SWAP Reports evaluated the susceptibility of all active public drinking water supply sources in 2003, including surface water reservoirs and ground water supply wells, to potential contamination.  Working with a source water protection stakeholders group, the SWAP reports were finalized by DPH in 2003.  These SWAP reports were produced to meet the source water protection program requirements of the 1996 SDWA Amendments as administered by the EPA.   As new data becomes available, the SWAP reports will be updated and revised as appropriate.
