Special Licensing Hearings

All conferences and hearings for the immediate future will be conducted telephonically, via a conference line number that will be communicated to the applicant.

Welcome to the Special Licensing and Firearms Unit (SLFU) Hearings Website. If you have received a letter letting you know that your license (security guard, bail enforcement agent, private detective, or other license issued by the SLFU) has been denied, revoked, or suspended then you must mail or email us your signed and dated decision form to withdraw or ask for a conference and/or hearing within fifteen days. To learn more about the conference and hearings process, please see the below description of how it all works or visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

You may also access the appropriate forms to download, print, and either mail or email to notify the Department of your decisions.
