Soils and Stormwater Runoff

Segment 3 provided training on basic definitions, classification and taxonomy, and interpretations of soils. In addition, an advanced training lecture on the relationship between storm water management, infiltration, and soils was included. In the afternoon, participants observed soils in the field to understand the relationship between soil profiles, redoximorphic features, and landscape placement.
