New home construction contractors in Connecticut must be registered with the Department of Consumer Protection. All New Home Construction Contractor registrations expire annually on March 31.

Complaints against new home construction contractors are handled by the Department of Consumer Protection. Complaints must be submitted to the agency in writing.
