Suspicious Activity

Prompt and detailed reporting of suspicious activities can help prevent violent crimes and/or terrorist attacks. If you see suspicious activity, report it to the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security or your local police. If You See Something, Say Something!

If you receive a suspicious package, do not open the package. Instead, secure the area around the item and contact law enforcement by calling 911.

The person who identified the suspicious package should also contact the building supervisor(s), providing as much detail about the situation as possible.

Connecticut State Police will evaluate the situation, take action, and will inform the resident of the proper course of action to take.
