5. Notice of Scoping for Construction of Two Academic Buildings, UConn at Storrs

Project Description: The University of Connecticut plans to construct:  1) a 136,000 square foot LEED Silver certified classroom and academic office building at the location of the former UConn Co-op, and 2) a 60,000 square foot LEED Silver certified classroom building at the location of the former Pharmacy Building.  These buildings will house the Social Sciences and Humanities programs of Journalism, Modern and Classical Languages, Political Science, Economics, Linguistics, and Communications Sciences.
