Project Title: Interstate 95 from Interchange 70-84

Municipalities where proposed project will be located: Old Lyme, East Lyme, Waterford and New London 

Project DescriptionThe project consists of improvements to the I-95 corridor for approximately 12.3 miles (21 km) in length, from Interchange 70 in the town of Old Lyme to Interchange 84 in the city of New London.  Alternatives under consideration include the addition of a third travel lane in each direction referred to as the "Build Alternative" and taking no action other than maintaining the existing facility which is referred to as the "No Build" alternative.  The public scoping process is a critical task in the preparation of a Federal Environmental Impact Statement/Connecticut Environmental Impact Evaluation.
