Project Description: Cannan Parish was built in 1978 under the HUD section 8 Program. The property is owned by the Town of New Canaan. Heritage Housing, Inc. is the Project Manager. The 60 exsiting, affordable untis will be demolished. Two new builsings with 100 affordable unti swill be constructed. This is an increase of 40 affordable units. The area served by public water and sewer. The parking spaces will increase by 150 spots. The project is located less than half a mile from the train station.

Written comments from the public are welcomed and will be accepted until the close of business on: December 4th, 2018.
Any person can ask the sponsoring agency to hold a Public Scoping Meeting by sending such a request to the address below. If a meeting is requested by 25 or more individuals, or by an association that represents 25 or more members, the sponsoring agency shall schedule a Public Scoping Meeting. Such requests must be made by November 15th, 2018.
