1. EIE Notice for Technology Classroom Building, Naugatuck Valley Community College (NVCC)

Project Description: The proposed action consists of the construction of a new Technology Classroom Building (TCB), consisting of approximately 100,000 square feet of new building space.  The building program will provide new, more flexible classrooms and computer laboratory space for the technology programs at NVCC.  The improvements will also create efficient space for a variety of programs including those currently utilizing seven 30-year-old existing structures present on site.  The Automotive Technology Program, which currently leases space off-campus, will be housed in the TCB.  Approximately 5,000 sf of greenhouse space will also be provided to replace its existing antiquated facility.
