2.  EIE Notice for Great Path Academy Magnet School (GPA) and 500 New Parking Spaces at Manchester Community College (MCC)

Project Description: The Board of Trustees of Community-Technical Colleges (BOTCTC) is proposing the following two separate projects that are covered under the Environmental Impact Evaluation:

(1) The construction of a new 74,500-square foot building to be attached to the existing Lowe Building located on the eastern side of the 160-acre campus of MCC in Manchester (Phase I). The new building will house the GPA Magnet High School, which currently is operating within MCC and has been since the fall of 2002.  Current student enrollment at GPA is approximately 75 students. The proposed new building will accommodate 350 students.

(2) A future second phase, consisting of the construction of 500 additional parking spaces to accommodate future growth at MCC and GPA (Phase II).

There is no public hearing scheduled for this EIE. The agency will hold a public hearing if 25 or more persons or an association that has at least 25 members requests a hearing.  A public hearing request must be made no later thanOctober 28, 2005.
