Connecticut Joins Multistate Effort Pushing For Federal Standards on Methane Emissions
Attorney General George Jepsen and state Energy and Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel C. Esty said Connecticut has joined six other states in notifying the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) they intend to sue, if necessary, to prompt agency action on methane gas emissions from new and existing sources of the greenhouse gas.

Connecticut Joins Settlement Agreement With Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Attorney General George Jepsen said that Connecticut has joined with other states and the federal government to settle allegations that Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIPI), paid kickbacks and engaged in off-label marketing campaigns that improperly promoted four drugs: Atrovent, Combivent, Micardis and Aggrenox.

Settlement Requires EPA to Update National Standards for Soot Pollution by End of the Year
