Lt Gov Wyman Invites Public To Honor Connecticuts Fallen Troops At Wall Of Honor Ceremony
(HARTFORD, CT) – Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman invites members of the public to join her and radio personality Brad Davis at the 11th annual Wall of Honor ceremony which will be held at the State Capitol on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Joined by Major General Thad Martin, Adjutant General of the Connecticut National Guard, Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Thomas J. Saadi, state officials, and military families, the event memorializes the 65 Connecticut troops killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 2001 terrorist attacks.Established by Lt. Governor Wyman in 2007, the Wall of Honor is a permanent memorial that includes photos of 65 Connecticut men and women from all branches of the military.
Parking for the public is available in the garage of the Legislative Office Building, located at 300 Capitol Avenue. All members of the public are welcome to attend.
