Lt. Governor Wyman Congratulates Governor Malloy on Receiving the JFK Profile in Courage Award

 

 

(HARTFORD, CT) - Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman today released a statement in response to news that Governor Dannel P. Malloy is the recipient of the 2016 John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award:

 

"I join Governor Malloy's family, friends, and colleagues in being tremendously proud of him. The JFK Profile in Courage Award recognizes the Governor's longstanding work to promote justice and equality for all residents-work that has benefitted all of us in Connecticut and modeled for the nation true democratic ideals of inclusion and integrity. This is a day of celebration, and I applaud the Governor's continued efforts to end discrimination."
