Thursday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Attends Events in New Britain, Hartford, and Middletown
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the opening of the new Costco store. The project was assisted with state funding and is expected to bring hundreds of jobs to the region.
Later, the Lt. Governor will chair the monthly meeting of Access Health CT, the state's healthcare exchange. Immediately after the meeting, the Lt. Governor and Access Health CT CEO Jim Wadleigh will hold a press availability.
In the afternoon, Lt. Governor Wyman will make remarks at a military funeral hosted by Missing in America. The organization locates and identifies veterans' remains and coordinates funerals with military honors for the unclaimed heroes.
Finally, the Lt. Governor will chair a meeting of the Interagency Council for Ending the Achievement Gap.
