TUESDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN ATTENDS EVENTS IN HARTFORD AND WATERBURY

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will speak at the 27 ^th annual National Prevention Network Research Conference to discuss efforts to curb opioid use and abuse.

Later, she will join local officials and healthcare leaders to recognize the certification of the Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute as a charter member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance.

In the afternoon, the Lt. Governor will tour state-certified electronics recycler Take 2. This small business received state support from the Department of Economic and Community Development to expand and create jobs.

In the evening, the Lt. Governor will attend the Connecticut Women's Council Women in Leadership event.
