LT. GOV. WYMAN ANNOUNCES 2014 WALL OF HONOR CEREMONY

Invites Public to Honor Fallen Troops at Annual Event

(HARTFORD, CT) -Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman announced that the 7 th annual Wall of Honor ceremony to recognize Connecticut troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan will take place Thursday, May 22, 2014. Co-hosted by radio personality Brad Davis, the event memorializes the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation since the terrorist attacks in 2001.

Started by the Lt. Governor in 2007, the Wall of Honor includes photos of 64 Connecticut service members displayed in the concourse between the Capitol and the Legislative Office Building. On Thursday, a photo of Air Force Staff Sergeant Todd James "TJ" Lobraico Jr. will be added to the Wall. Staff Sergeant Lobraico was killed in action in Afghanistan on September 5, 2013.
