Appellate Court Decisions
In a tiny number of cases, Judges of the State's Appellate Court may hear arguments from both parties of a disputed workers' compensation case that remains unresolved, even after having gone through lower-level hearings in the Workers' Compensation Commission's District Offices and, in most cases, the CRB as well.
While opinions issued by the CRB take precedence over findings from lower-level hearings heard by the Commission, decisions of the Appellate Court take precedence over opinions issued by the CRB.
Decisions in workers' compensation cases issued by the State Appellate Court may be found
at the Appellate Court website.
