Information on Early Voting and Same-Day Registration (SDR)

Your Say. Your Day. In Person. Early Voting allows you to vote in person safely and securely before Election Day. SDR allows you to register to vote and cast a ballot at the same time if you meet the eligibility requirements for voting in Connecticut. SDR is available for general elections, but not primaries or special elections.

Notice regarding Same-Day Registration (SDR): Same-Day Registration is only available for regular general elections. There is no Same-Day Registration for primaries or special elections. C.G.S. Sec. 9-19j
