Timelines for renewing teaching certificates in CT
If you are renewing a certificate, you may submit an application within six months of the expiration of your current certificate. It is recommended that you apply at least four to six weeks prior to the expiration date to allow time for processing the application. If you are advancing your certificate to a higher level, you may apply as soon as you meet the criteria for the higher certificate.
