Overview

PDECs are planning to implement the CT Guidelines 2023 beginning in the 2024-25 school year, the PDEC Suggested Work Flow Plan and Frequently Asked Questions includes agenda items, materials, and resources to assist PDECs in the foundational work necessary to effectively implement the CT Guidelines 2023. The activities and resources are suggestions for PDECs to consider as they address individual PDEC needs, including building in additional time, as needed. PDECs have an important role in development of the district’s evaluation and support plan as well as the district’s professional learning plan. The PDEC Self-Reflection resource provided in the Work Flow Plan provides guidance for districts to consider effective PDEC practices.
