Overview
In January 2025, the CSDE issued Guidance to K–12 Public Schools Pertaining to Immigration Activities to assist school districts in understanding their responsibilities and establishing protocols for responding to immigration enforcement activities. The guidance was subsequently reinforced through legislation enacted by the Connecticut General Assembly.
