DEPARTMENT MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDITION SERVICES

The DMHAS POLICE (State of CT Mental Health and Addiction Services), as part of a hiring campaign, is seeking CT POST Certified Officers (C.G.S. 7-294d) to fill numerous fulltime Police Officer positions throughout the State.  Work locations include Middletown, Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford.   All candidates will be required to successfully complete a written examination and oral interview. Additionally, candidates must successfully pass a background investigation, polygraph, psychological and medical examination including a drug screening.  Physical Agility/Cooper test NOT required.  Starting salary: $57,354 with excellent benefits including a Defined Pension Plan.  All officers have a schedule which includes every other weekend off.  Officers receive shift and weekend differentials as well as holiday pay.  Contact Lt.
