The federal government paused full SNAP funding effective November 1. While partial benefits may soon be released, we do not yet have a confirmed date. Those in need of immediate food assistance or who want to donate or volunteer can locate their local food pantry or a mobile pantry by visiting 211ct.org or ctfoodshare.org, or texting the word FOODSHARE to 85511.

Student Loan Reimbursement Program (SLRP) applicants will only receive reimbursement for the student loan payments submitted to their loan service provider in 2024, up to $5,000. Eligible applicants will NOT receive more than they paid in 2024, to their loan servicer, as SLRP is a reimbursement program. Proof of each 2024 student loan payment is required at the time of application submittal.
