Healthcare Providers

Introduction

The Office of the Healthcare Advocate is available to assist and provide education to providers regarding healthcare insurance issues or questions. Some examples of services include, but are not limited to the following: prior authorization requests, denials of services, coding issues, single case agreements, and other insurance matters. In order for OHA to assist your patients, the OHA Release of Information (ROI) will need to be completed and returned with a copy of the front and back of the patient's insurance card(s).

Outreach Seminars

Additionally, OHA offers outreach seminars to providers and staff to understand how to navigate and work with the insurance carriers while treating their patients. Likewise, our staff can offer some guidance to providers regarding the appeal process and overcoming an adverse determination.

Feel free to contact the OHA outreach coordinator to schedule an event or view our calendar of upcoming events.
