Connecticut State Division of Public Defender Services

Members of the public have reported receiving calls, reportedly from the Judicial Branch of the Public Defender’s office, indicating that their loved one is in jail and they need to immediately send cash or provide a credit card number for bail. These calls are scams, so please do not send cash or provide your credit card number or any other personal information. A public defender would never call and ask for money or credit card information. If you receive such a call, contact the State Police in your state.

From I-95 North and South:

Take Exit 39A (West Rt. 1) Milford. Turn right off exit-keeping right of fork in road (Rt.1). At second light take a left onto North Street. Proceed to stop sign. Take right at stop sign, cross over bridge, and proceed approximately three hundred yards straight past Parsons Complex. Public parking lot on left.

From the North - Wilbur Cross, Merritt Parkway Route 15:

Take Exit 54 (immediately before Sikorsky Bridge) towards I-95 Milford connector. Follow to very end of connector. Take right onto Route 1 and proceed to second traffic light. Take a right onto North Street proceed to stop sign. Take a right at stop sign, cross over bridge. Travel approximately 300 yards straight past Parsons Complex. Public parking lot on left.

From the South - Wilbur Cross, Merritt Parkway Route 15:

Exit which leads to Rt. 34 East. Follow Rt. 34 East approximately three miles to Grassy Hill Road (Rt. 121). Proceed approximately four miles to third traffic light (intersection Rt. 1) proceed straight crossing over Rt.1 proceed to stop sign - take right at stop sign cross over bridge. Travel approximately three hundred yards straight past Parsons Complex Building. Public parking lot on left.
