State Selects Moffatt & Nichol to Complete Deep Water Port Economic Development Study
The Office of Policy and Management – working with the Department of Economic and Community Development, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and local officials – today announced that it has selected leading global port and harbor advisor Moffat & Nichol to complete a comprehensive strategy study of the state’s three deep water ports, including a focused effort at growing maritime industry jobs.

Malloy today released the following statement regarding the ongoing negotiations between the Hartford Area Cleaning Contractors Association and the commercial building cleaners, represented by Local 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union. Gov. Malloy: Investigation into Possible Fraud Continues
As the investigation into the Federal Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) continues, Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Office of Labor Relations (OLR) have forwarded the names of an additional 10 state employees to various agency heads to begin their administrative reviews, bringing the total number of instances of possible fraud up to 44.
