FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY VISITS NEWTOWN, SHARON, WINCHESTER, BARKHAMSTED AND BURLINGTON TO MAKE GRANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join state and local officials for economic development grant announcements in Newtown, Sharon, Winchester, Barkhamsted and Burlington.

At 10:30 a.m., Governor Malloy will join First Selectman Pat Llodra, Senator John McKinney, State Representative Chris Lyddy and State Representative Debra Lee Hovey in Newtown.

At 12:15 p.m., Governor Malloy will join First Selectman Robert Loucks and State Representative Roberta Willis in Sharon.

At 1:45 p.m., Governor Malloy will join Mayor Mary Ann Welcome and State Representative John Rigby in Winchester.

At 2:45 p.m., Governor Malloy will join First Selectman Don Stein, State Senator Kevin Witkos, State Representative Bill Simanski and State Representative John Rigby in Barkhamsted.

At 3:45 p.m., Governor Malloy will join First Selectman Cathy Bergstrom, First Selectman-elect Ted Shafer, Senator Beth Bye, and State Representative John Piscopo in Burlington.
