Gov. Malloy: Flags Lowered Friday to Honor Billy Graham
(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that pursuant to a presidential proclamation from President Donald J. Trump directing flags across the country to be lowered on the day of the interment of Reverend Billy Graham, U.S. and state flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, March 2, 2018.
Accordingly, since no flag should fly higher than the U.S. flag, all other flags, including state, municipal, corporate, or otherwise, should also be lowered during this same duration of time.
