GOV. MALLOY: DENSE FOG TO IMPACT AFTERNOON COMMUTE
Dense Fog Advisories Issued for Most of the State
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today cautioned residents about dense fog having a major impact on the afternoon commute.
"Widespread dense fog is currently blanketing the state resulting in deteriorating visibility," Governor Malloy said. "As drivers head out for the afternoon commute, please use caution on the roadways and pay close attention to all vehicles in front of you."

The National Weather Service has issued Dense Fog Advisories for most of the state for this afternoon and this evening. Visibility in some areas has dropped to near 1/10th of a mile, which is causing difficult driving conditions.
