FRIDAY: GOV. MALLOY & LT. GOV. WYMAN ATTEND VETERANS' STAND DOWN EVENT
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will attend the Department of Veterans' Affairs 21st annual "Stand Down" event in Rocky Hill. The annual event, which is attended by around 1,000 veterans from across the state, provides outreach to those who have served their country, including health and wellness services, job placement and workforce training support, and information on state and federal benefits, among other services.
