MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY PARTICIPATES IN MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE GROUNDBREAKING; VISITS SMALL BUSINESSES IN MANCHESTER AND SOUTH WINDSOR

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will participate in a groundbreaking ceremony at Manchester Community College.

Following that, Governor Malloy will visit two small businesses - Bolton Aerospace in Manchester and Between Rounds in South Windsor - where he will meet with each of the companies' executives and staff to discuss their plans for growth and to take a tour of the facilities. Both companies recently participated in the state's Small Business Express Program (EXP), which partners with small businesses to help them expand and grow jobs by offering loans and matching grants. The program, which launched in January 2012, has since been utilized by nearly 900 companies to create more than 2,400 new jobs and retain 6,900 jobs.
