TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY JOINS U.S. COMMERCE SECRETARY PRITZKER IN WALLINGFORD

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker in Wallingford for a tour of APS Technology, followed by a media availability. The company is a leader in measurement-while-drilling, rotary steerable and vibration management products for the oil and gas drilling industry. In January, the State Bond Commission approved a $5 million loan to help APS Technology accelerate the development and distribution of its next generation products, and create more quality jobs in Connecticut. The company will increase its workforce from 155 in 2012 to at least 278 people by 2015.
