WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY DISCUSSES URBAN VIOLENCE IN NEW BRITAIN; TOURS WALLINGFORD GREENHOUSES

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join New Britain Mayor Tim O'Brien, New Britain Police Chief James Wardwell, members of the New Britain City Council, and community stakeholders for a roundtable discussion on urban gun violence, including gun violence reduction strategies, community policing efforts, and other urban crime mitigation efforts.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will visit Geremia Greenhouses in Wallingford for an opportunity to meet with its owner and discuss the promotion of CT Grown products. Geremia Greenhouses is a state-of-the-art biofuelled facility that grows produce through all seasons of the year.
